Who IS Audrey Shaffer?

I'm an entrepreneur, risk-taker, self-employed independent contractor, and writer. I'm mother of three grown children and grandmother to seven growing grandchildren.

I spent 30 years working in different industries doing accounting, management, human resources, promotions development, marketing and business writing. Not to mention my stints in retail sales, door-to-door sales, meeting organization and even bartending.

I've ghostwritten short stories and a training manual. I've published articles and essays. I'm currently writing a novel. Leader of The Writer's Chatroom for the past three years, inspiring, educating, encouraging and assisting other writers.

I'm not a kid. I've been around the block a few times, but there is still a lot of life in me. I've beat cancer twice, been struck by lightning twice, and died once. It takes a lot to put me down.
